About the Speakers:

Darren Lee

Darren is a director of taxation in Sydney and heads up the firm’s Asian services practice. Darren has over 20 years’ experience as a tax advisor, and prior to joining Bentleys, Darren was a partner at a ‘Big 4’ accounting firm. With particular expertise in advising on corporate group structuring, international taxation, and mergers and acquisitions, Darren brings a depth of experience to his role, offering clients practical solutions to complex tax issues.

Darren has extensive experience working in commerce, having worked in corporate tax in the finance, and energy and resources sectors. Darren possesses broad experience in a range of industries. He advises on income tax matters relating to property, technology, financial services, manufacturing, and distribution.

Ashish Dave

Ashish Dave is a director in Kroll’s Transfer Pricing practice based in Sydney, Australia. Ashish has more than 15 years of experience in international tax, specializing in transfer pricing. He has worked in a variety of locations such as Australia and Asia, including India.  As a transfer pricing specialist, Ashish has advised a wide range of clients in preparing transfer pricing policies, designing transfer pricing systems, and documentation covering masterfile and local file. He has also been involved in numerous transfer pricing reviews and audits with the Australian Taxation Office and has negotiated successful outcomes. Ashish is a regular presenter at various external conferences and seminars in Australia, and webinars to audiences throughout Asia.

Previously, he was a principal in the transfer pricing group of Deloitte in Sydney and also worked in India dealing with international tax and transfer pricing issues. Ashish holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Chapter.
